Pool Operations Manager

Position Title: Pool Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time – Seasonal

Reports to: Clubhouse Manager and/or General Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Pool Operations Manager has overall responsibility for all activities, personnel, and member relations involved in the operations of the CRCC pool as well as the condition of the pool, deck and locker rooms.

PREFERRED CRITERIA/EXPERIENCE:

· Two years of effective and proven managerial experience.

· Strong relationship-building skills.

· Organizational abilities to coordinate schedules and events.

· Knowledge and experience resolving minor mechanical issues involved in pool operations.

· Knowledge of/compliance with health and safety standards.

· Must have Lifeguard Training Certification, CPR & First Aid Certification

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

· Hiring, training and supervising pool personnel.

· Maintains correct payroll records.

· Scheduling hours of work for department staff.

· Purchasing pool chemicals

· Maintains proper chemical balance in the pool in coordination with the club’s facilities maintenance department.

· Maintains and keeps all necessary records concerning pool attendance, pool chemicals, accident reports, problem member reports, lifeguard schedules, staff timekeeping, etc.

· Registers members & guests a pool

· Maintains pool safety program.
